Andrea LePain is an award-winning journalist with more than 20 years of combined media and public relations experience. She founded her own public relations & consulting firm in July of 2016. Previously, as Vice President of Greenough Communications, she led media and communications strategy for a wide range of clients, providing counsel, developing plans and executing successful engagement strategies for dozens of leading brands. Over the years, she has developed a wide range of contacts across national and regional business media including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Forbes, Fortune, Bloomberg, CNN and ABC. Her client experiences include MIT, Beth Israel Deaconess Care Organization, Imprivata, Nuxeo, Bedrock Data, M-Files, Inovalon, Digital Guardian, Brand Protect, Laserfiche, Ness Technologies, Tribridge, Tufts Health Plan, Sheridan Healthcare, Carewell Urgent Care, Quest Diagnostics and more.
Before joining Greenough, Andrea rose the ranks to become Managing Editor of the nation’s largest 24-hour news channel, NECN; she served as a primary editorial decision-maker responsible for story selection and planning for the network’s programming. Andrea also researched and developed enterprise stories and successfully launched the station's first investigative unit. In 2009, she was honored with the national Edward R. Murrow award for an investigative documentary film she produced which led the Massachusetts legislature to toughen the state’s fire codes.
Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University.
